The Trust for Developing Communities is looking for new trustees

The Trust for Developing Communities (TDC) is looking for new members to join our Board of Trustees.

We need people who can help direct TDC towards achieving its mission and ensure it is effectively managed.

You would need to make a commitment to TDC and devote the necessary time, strategic vision, independent judgement, ability to think creatively and willingness to speak your mind!

The Trust for Developing Communities is a voluntary organisation set up by people with experience of community development, living and working in Brighton and Hove, with a particular interest in seeing community development expanded across the City and the South East.

What’s in it for you?

Being a trustee offers opportunities to:
* Use skills and experience effectively
* Represent a community or area you live in / get involved
* Make new contacts and friends / Improve personal networks
* Develop new skills
* Make a difference
* Have fun

We would particularly welcome people who have legal expertise and local business experience.

We are keen to have representation from the full range of communities we work with and we particularly welcome applications from BME, women, young people and other communities of identity.

Applications from all communities are warmly welcomed.

If you feel you have an interest in becoming a new trustee for TDC we can invite you along to one of our upcoming meetings to see it ‘in action’ and discover how it feels for you to be involved.

If you would like to find out more, please contact Linda Saltwell, Chief Executive, for an informal chat on 01273 262220.
