Bevendean’s community festival BevFest took place this year on Saturday 7th July.
The Friends of BevFest committee worked for months to bring together musical acts, food and drink stalls and the local community groups and services to create a truly wonderful family and community festival on the Playing Field in Lower Bevendean.
Despite the hot weather and World Cup football, lots of Bevendean residents and neighbours came to celebrate the summer with great music from Brighton bands, beer from the Bevy, yummy food, activities for kids and young people and of course to meet local community groups presenting their important work and promoting healthy living in their neighbourhood.
