She has been working with young people as a music and singing teacher since 2004 in both educational and community settings in London, Hampshire, West Sussex and though mainly works in Brighton and Hove now.

HollingdeanAlthough Liz's professional qualifications are in Hotel Management she has always been interested and involved in her local community: Liz has been a member of her local regeneration partnership since it began over seven years ago and was Chair of the partnership for four. She started as Community Development Worker in Hollingdean at the end of June 2008 and has focussed on letting as many groups/organisations/residents as possible know that she is there, based in the Community Centre, and would like to hear from them.

Kay has had first hand experience of the community development process, having been involved in a number of local community projects as an activist, then training on the WICO course and obtaining an Advanced Diploma in community Development in 2006.

HollingburyAfter 11 years working in community development in Salford & London Kings Cross, Linda moved to Brighton in 2002, to work with Brighton & Hove Council's community development team. In 2003 she took a job with the newly-formed Trust for Developing Communities - initially to work on the Neighbourhood Action Plan (NAP) for Bevendean. Working in a part time capacity for the Trust ever since, Linda has managed various projects and also produced NAPs for Coldean and the Triangle (Lewes Road/Upper Lewes Road) area.

Sue Sayers

PeacehavenSue joined the Trust in August 2006, having previously worked as a Community Development Worker in East Brighton, firstly in Moulsecoomb and then in Whitehawk (2002 - 2006). She successfully achieved a Level 3 Diploma on the accredited OCN Working in Community Organisations (WICO) course in 2002. In July 2009, Sue was appointed as Community Participation Worker for Downlands Court, Peacehaven.
Tony Silsby
Submitted by mark.james on 5 March, 2009 - 12:51. WoodingdeanTony started with the Trust in July 2008 working in Bevendean, as cover for Catherine Mitchell whilst she was on maternity leave. He recently finished the WICO (Working In Community Organisations) course having spent the previous two years working as a Community Development Worker in the Brunswick & Regency, Bristol Estate and Whitehawk areas. Tony is now working in the Woodingdean area.
