Adam joined the Trust in July 2006 having recently moved to Brighton & Hove from the north coast of Cornwall. He has a background in Youth Work and Activity Leadership and an interest in outdoor activities, water sports and working with young people.

Amy joined the Trust in November 2009. She has been involved in a wide range of community work for the past 5 years, and successfully completed the Working in Community Organisations (WICO) course in 2006.  Amy is based at The Haven, the community space in the Queen's Park Estate, and she welcomes residents of Queen's Park and Craven Vale to drop in and see her there.

Cela joined TDC in November 2009 as the Youth Activities Worker in Queen's Park and Craven Vale.  She has been working with young people as a music and singing teacher since 2004 in both educational and community settings in London, Hampshire, West Sussex and though mainly works in Brighton and Hove now.

Claire joined the Trust in 2006 from a background of youth work and voluntary community activism. As a result of participation in the Working in Community Organisations (WICO) course, she attained a Diploma in Advanced Community Development OCN level 3 in 2006.

Although Liz's professional qualifications are in Hotel Management she has always been interested and involved in her local community: Liz has been a member of her local regeneration partnership since it began over seven years ago and was Chair of the partnership for four.  She started as Community Development Worker in Hollingdean at the end of June 2008 and has focussed on letting as many groups/organisations/residents as possible know that she is there, based in the Community Centre, and would like to hear from them.

Kalishia joined the Trust in June 2009 with experience of involvement in Youth/Community Work since she was 13 years old.  Some of that experience was being a Young Advisor for Brighton & Hove’s Youth Pilot project and also being part of a traineeship programme working for Brighton & Hove City Council as a Community Engagement Officer.  Whilst doing this traineeship programme

Kay has had first hand experience of the community development process, having been involved in a number of local community projects as an activist, then training on the WICO course and obtaining an Advanced Diploma in community Development in 2006.

After 11 years working in community development in Salford & London Kings Cross, Linda moved to Brighton in 2002, to work with Brighton & Hove Council's community development team. In 2003 she took a job with the newly-formed Trust for Developing Communities - initially to work on the Neighbourhood Action Plan (NAP) for Bevendean. Working in a part time capacity for the Trust ever since, Linda has managed various projects and also produced NAPs for Coldean and the Triangle (Lewes Road/Upper Lewes Road) area.

Lorette has been the Community Development Worker at Portslade Community Project for five years. She was originally employed by the Hangleton and Knoll Project until the Project, and her employment, was transferred to the Trust in 2007.

Polly joined the Trust in November 2009. She has a background in working with young people around Brighton and Hove in the city's community drop-in centres and youth clubs. She has a keen interest in music, especially DJ'ing, and also enjoys swimming, canoeing and art.  She is really enjoying working with the young people of Bevendean.

Sofie joined the Trust in July 2009 having come from a background in 'welfare to work' and working with the homelessness. She has worked with many minority groups in her career, especially within the fields of substance use, tenancy sustainment and community outreach. Sofie's most recent role was supporting the long term unemployed and lone parents back into work. She has also been a trainer off and on for the last ten years, specialising in self-development.

Sue joined the Trust in August 2006, having previously worked as a Community Development Worker in East Brighton, firstly in Moulsecoomb and then in Whitehawk (2002 - 2006). She successfully achieved a Level 3 Diploma on the accredited OCN Working in Community Organisations (WICO) course in 2002. In July 2009, Sue was appointed as Community Participation Worker for Downlands Court, Peacehaven.

Tony started with the Trust in July 2008 working in Bevendean, as cover for Catherine Mitchell whilst she was on maternity leave.  He recently finished the WICO (Working In Community Organisations) course having spent the previous  two years working as a Community Development Worker in the Brunswick & Regency, Bristol Estate and Whitehawk areas. Tony is now working in the Woodingdean area.
