The Trust delivers community development work across Brighton and Hove, devises work-led training schemes in community development and provides consultancy and research services.

The Trust trained staff work to help existing community groups to develop and flourish, for example by identifying sources of funding which might assist their work.  They help in the setting up and development of new groups or facilities which may be lacking in an area - parent & toddler groups, social activities for older people, youth and sports clubs, etc.  

The Trust staff also work with people who are active in their communities to assist them to build bridges with service providers (the Council, the Police, the NHS, the bus company, etc.) in order to improve services in their locality.
