The Brighton and Hove Community Workers Conference
The Trust organises two annual conferences for workers engaging with local communities in Brighton and Hove.
At the conferences, the community workers are able to network with other community workers, find out about good practice in the City and discuss issues and find solutions.
The conferences count with representatives from voluntary and statutory organisations including health, police, council, voluntary sector infrastructure groups and community of interest organisations. It is a chance to share learning and experience with a breadth of frontline staff and service managers.
Please find below the minutes from previous conferences.
The next Brighton and Hove Community Workers Conference is scheduled for the 6th March 2012 from 10 to 13. Please reserve the date. More information on this event will be available soon!
The Brighton and Hove Neighbourhood Network
The Neighbourhood Network was created by unanimous vote after the Neighbourhood Conference in July 2010. It exists to bring together neighbourhood groups and organisations to provide a collective voice. The network aims to make life better for people in all neighbourhoods in Brighton and Hove, by sharing information and influencing any decisions that affect all neighbourhoods.
The agenda for each session is decided by residents and the sessions are opened to all residents and neighbourhood groups.
If you are a resident that would like to attend, please get in touch.
