Workers' Meetings

The Trust is committed to support its workers in their day-to-day work. For this reason, there are four types of meeting set up to share experience and raise any concerns or questions that may affect the worker's performance.

  1. Team Meetings: These meetings take place every six weeks and are led by the management team. They focus on keeping the workers informed about any changes in policy that may affect their work, new opportunities etc. Partner local organisation whose work may interlink with the Trust are often invited to these meetings so that potential joint working may be enhanced.
  2. Management Team Meetings: These meetings are attended by the management team (Chief Executive, Deputy Chief Executive and Projects Managers). They take place monthly. The focus of these meetings is to inform each other about issues that have occurred during the work and forward plan staff responsibilities.
  3. Practice Meetings: These take place every six weeks and are primarily led by the project workers. They focus on practical issues as raised by the project workers, or volunteers, in their day-to-day work. They often run to an 'Action Learning Set' model and sometimes may be a direct, management led, training session.
  4. Supervision: All workers at all levels have a monthly supervisory meeting with their line manager in which all issues that have come up during that month can be reflected upon and solutions found .
